Termite protection for your property is not a question of if you will need it, but rather when. Arizona is one of the highest pressure termite infestation states in the USA. Preventing and suppressing termite attack on homes and businesses needs to be maintained over the life of any structure. There are different types of Termites and many different control measures. Adaptive Environmental Pest Solutions leaves our treatment methodology open-ended to provide situational, tailored solutions for your home or business. Long term warranties available for most treatments, read more below.

Subterranean Termite Solutions

PreConstruction Termite Solutions

AEPS provides traditional soil applications for all preconstruction (buildings prior to the concrete being poured) situations. These treatments come with a 3 year warranty with renewal options for continuing coverage annually afterwards. *Final Grade Treatments are required by the State of Arizona at the completion of this style of control.

New construction termite solutions

AEPS provides direct treatment to rough-in framing with low in toxicity products like Sodium Borates and others. This directly protects the food source of the termite and can be an excellent option for certain construction types and chemically sensitive individuals. This process requires much more product and labor to perform correctly, therefore it can be cost prohibitive. These types of treatments can be hybridized with a traditional Preconstruction Treatment to provide the most comprehensive, long term control solution for all new buildings. *Final Grade Treatments are required by the State of Arizona at the completion of this style of control.

Post contstruction termite solutions

AEPS provides hybrid and traditional solutions for Subterranean Termites in already built buildings. Traditional solutions involve a soil application to all critical areas of the structure that allow Subterranean entry. These treatments can be used in most areas, however can require some drilling through flooring. In these cases, we can shift the application location to the wall voids (via foam) of the home. This allows for the drill holes to be smaller, paintable and overall less damaging to the aesthetic value of the structure. We regularly blend wall void application with soil applications to provide the longest lasting and least intrusive solutions for your home or business.

Drywood Termite Fecal Pellets

Drywood Termite Fecal Pellets

Drywood Termite Solutions

AEPS provides spot treatments to control Drywood Termites. Drywood termites live and operate much differently than the more familiar Subterranean Termite. They live in the wood of the structure directly. As a result, you must treat the wood they are in directly to remove them. They can be very destructive if not controlled as soon as you observe them. Their droppings, or fecal pellets, are usually the first sign you have an infestation. We can use different formulations of low in toxicity products like liquids, dusts & foams. The only other solutions available for control are complete removal of the infested wood and entire building fumigation. AEPS will advise you on your best course of action, even if we do not offer that solution through AEPS.

Re-Infesting True Powder Post Beetles

Re-Infesting True Powder Post Beetles

Re-Infesting Beetles, Carpenter Bees, Carpenter Ants . . .

There are many other types of Wood Destroying Organisms (WDO) than simply Termites. All of these other WDOs can do varying degrees of damage depending on species. The Beetles tend to need some type of control fairly quickly after first seeing them. Carpenter Ants generally need control but do much less damage here in Arizona than other parts of the country. Carpenter Bees (aka Solitary Bees) can become an issue but you can generally leave them alone. They are great pollinators, however if a population gets out of control, they must be controlled. AEPS provides spot treatment solutions for all of these with a variety of formulations and products. We also provided solutions that may not require pesticides at all, assuming the situation will allow it.
